Casting News: Anna Kendrick to Star in Paul Feig's Anthology Series 'Love Life'

Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect) is set to reunite with her A Simple Favor director Paul Feig for the 10-part anthology series Love Life, heading to the WarnerMedia streaming service.

According to the series' description, the story is a journey from first love to last love and explores what happens along the way to finding that "forever someone." The series puts focus on the support system — friends and family — who help a person along that path.

According to ComingSoon.net, each season will focus on one character and each episode will focus on a particular relationship.

Kendrick is set to star and co-produce. It's not confirmed what role she will play, but we're guessing she's first up to find true love. We know the American actress from the Pitch Perfect franchise (2012-2017) and the 2009 dramedy Up in the Air, opposite George Clooney. One of our favorite roles of hers is as Poppy in the 2016 animated musical Trolls. She'll voice Poppy once again, in the 2020 sequel Trolls World Tour.

Feig is currently in post-production for Last Christmas, starring Emma Thompson and Emilia Clarke. There's no start date for Love Life just yet.

We love an anthology series — what about you??
