WATCH: Ralph Macchio Karate Chops Car Prices in 'Cobra Kai' Trailer

This might just be the year of reboots. The Roseanne revival premieres next week and there are a number of '90s series making a comeback, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Roswell.

There's also a YouTube Red sequel to the 1984 film The Karate Kid. The six-part series, called Cobrai Kai, sees original cast members, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, reprise their roles as rivals Daniel and Johnny, respectively.

At first glance, it seems the two might make amends, but... nope. They're still at odds.

Daniel, the underdog — a wimpy kid in the original — is now working as a car salesman. He's still holding onto his glory days, playing on his success as a former karate champion to "chop" prices at the dealership.

Johnny has fallen on rough times, though. He's no longer on the martial arts scene and his life has become aimless. "Put him in a body bag, Johnny!" — one of the most memorable lines from the original — must be a faint memory for the former high school stud.

In the new trailer, Johnny comes up with a plan to turn things around. Subsequently, Daniel devises a counterattack to stop him:

If only these two would join forces, maybe they could get more accomplished. But, that wouldn't necessarily make for great TV. Also, Daniel lays it out at the end of the trailer, saying, "Johnny. You and I? This? We weren't done." Those are some fighting words.
