Daniel Radcliffe Addresses Playing Wolverine Rumors

There’s been talk about Daniel Radcliffe stepping in to portray the X-Men character Wolverine, made famous by Hugh Jackman. Now, Radcliffe has stepped in to set the record straight.
It’s not necessarily a hard 'no,' but more of a soft 'maybe' — it could happen, if the opportunity were to arise.
Radcliffe has been all sorts of busy these days, and recently visited the British chat show Good Morning Britain. During the interview, he was asked about the possibility of joining the Marvel universe, reports Variety.
Apparently, he’s aware that this is being talked about, saying, “I keep getting asked about it and I always try and be like, ‘No, it’s not happening, it’s just a Twitter rumor. And everyone keeps taking that as confirmation. But it’s just fan theory at the moment. But I welcome the comparison. I mean, who wouldn’t like to be compared to Hugh Jackman?”
We never thought of Radcliffe as Wolverine, but now that it’s being discussed we can see it.
He went on to say, “I mean I’d never say never but that sounds like I’m almost inviting it. Like, I’m sure Marvel are watching me like ‘We’re not thinking about you dude.’”
It does give us a giggle that he referred to himself as “dude.” And, it doesn’t sound like he’s giving himself enough credit. We can’t speak for Marvel, but from our perspective, he seems like a great addition to the MCU.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, if people are talking about it, then it just might happen.
