We've just heard that Daniel Craig is heading to Broadway – and now Jodie Comer is preparing for a stage run in London's West End.

The Killing Eve actress will make her West End debut in Prima Facie, a brand new one-woman play written by Suzie Miller, WhatsOnStage reports.

Comer will star as Tessa, a driven and accomplished young woman from a working-class background who has carved out a successful career as a criminal barrister who specializes in defending men accused of sexual assault. However, her personal belief system is changed irrevocably when she becomes a survivor of a sex crime herself.

The play will run at London's Harold Pinter Theatre for nine weeks beginning April 15, 2022. Justin Martin, who served as associate director on the recent Tony and Olivier-winning play The Inheritance, will direct.

"It's such an honor to have been given the opportunity to work with Justin Martin, Suzie Miller, and the whole team on this wonderfully unique play," Comer said. "I look forward to bringing Tessa to life and introducing her to the audiences at the Harold Pinter theatre next Spring."

Comer's previous stage role came in a production of Fiona Evans' play The Price of Everything at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough in 2010. She has, of course, been incredibly busy on screen since then, winning Emmy and BAFTA awards for her performance as Villanelle in BBC America's Killing Eve. While we await her return as Villanelle in the fourth and final season, you can catch up with episodes from the first three seasons here.

You can also catch Comer in the upcoming Ridley Scott movie The Last Duel, a historical drama set in 14th century France that opens in theaters October 15.
