Wonder Woman 1984 is getting a lot of buzz. It released on Christmas Day in theaters and via HBO Max, with the latter being a talking point in itself.
While the superheroine flick is the biggest box office opening during the pandemic and is receiving praise from critics and audiences alike, one person, who contributed to its success, is feeling a little left out.
The folks over at CinemaBlend flagged that Cheetah creator Liam Sharp wasn't included in the rolling credits at the end of the movie. If you've yet to see the action flick, Cheetah is Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) archnemesis, played by the super-funny Kristen Wiig.
Writer-director Patty Jenkins did indeed include a thank you list dedicated to the comic book experts behind the franchise, putting a spotlight on WW creator William Moulton Marston and others who helped continue the story over the years, like George Pérez, Alex Ross, Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott.
Sharp's omission may have gone unnoticed, but it clearly hit a chord, with him posting a heartfelt note on Twitter:
He's not speaking to us, but even so, we'll answer the question anyway: "No, it's not wrong at all."
More importantly, Jenkins agreed with Sharp. She saw the tweet and posted a response on her page for everyone to see:

Her apology seemed to resonate with Sharp, with him writing back to her in a comment: "Patty - thank you SO much! That means loads to me to know I was meant to be there, and that it was an oversight - I thought it must have been. Really appreciate you writing this and letting me know. Here’s to a wonderful New Year! ❤️ "
It seems like there was a problem and it's now been squashed. Sometimes it calls to confront a situation to get to a resolution.
While it was an honest mistake, are you happy to see Patty Jenkins make it right?
