If you enjoyed Dominic Cooper in AMC's Preacher (2016-2019)... well, he's back. You can look for him in the six-part series Spy City, available on AMC+. Set during the Cold War, he takes on the role of a British spy, sent to Berlin to seek out a traitor.

It seems the Russians know way more than they should, and it's up to him to figure out the leak.

While we make our way through the series, with new episodes premiering on Thursdays, let's take a peek at some of Cooper's other standout roles:

1. The History Boys

Based on Alan Bennett's play by the same name, 2006's The History Boys follows a group of school friends who are all striving to enroll at Oxford or Cambridge. They are as talented and charming as they are unruly. Cooper takes on the role of Dakin and is joined by other familiar faces, like James Corden, Russell Tovey and Samuel Barnett.

2. Sense & Sensibility

Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility was adapted for TV in 2008, with Cooper starring as John Willoughby. The story follows a recently widowed woman and her three daughters, who fall on hard times. Even so, there's still room for love, with Willoughby wooing the middle daughter, Marianne (Charity Wakefield). Unfortunately for him, she has more than one suitor.

3. Mamma Mia!

Also in 2008, we saw Cooper up on the big screen, starring in Mamma Mia! Based on the Broadway musical, the movie follows a young woman (Amanda Seyfried) who is about to get married, with Cooper portraying the groom-t0-be. As she prepares for the big day, she tries to figure out who her dad is. She secretly invites her mom's (Meryl Streep) ex-boyfriends to the wedding.

4. The Devil's Double

Cooper took on two roles for 2011's The Devil's Double. Based on a true story, he portrayed both Saddam Hussein's son Uday and an unsuspecting citizen, Latif Yahia, who is forced to act as Uday's body double. With Uday living a dangerous life, this was not something Yahia volunteered for but was tortured into agreement.

5. Fleming

In 2014, Cooper joined the BBC America family, starring in the miniseries Fleming. Yep, Fleming as in Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond. The series dramatizes Fleming's early life, living in war-torn WWII London, prior to his writing the Bond series. Fleming was an officer in the Navy, using his expertise to launch missions against the Nazis, which later appeared in his writings.

Coincidentally, the folks over at Collider are referring to Cooper's performance in Spy City as him "channeling his best Bond."

6. The Lady in the Van

Cooper reunited with The History Boys' creator Alan Bennet for 2016's Lady in the Van, based on Bennet's memoir and screenplay. When a woman (Maggie Smith) sets up shop in his driveway, he said he wouldn't mind if she lived there, in her van, for a short time. A few weeks turned into fifteen years, with the two forming an unbreakable friendship. Cooper pops up as a theater actor.

7. Agent Carter

In 2015, we saw Cooper as Howard Stark in the Marvel series Agent Carter, starring Hayley Atwell in the title role. Stark, founder of Stark Industries, goes to Agent Carter for help when he's accused of treason. The series kicks off in the 1940s, before Stark later in life became the father to Tony Stark/Iron Man.

8. Preacher

The comic book series Preacher was adapted for TV in 2016, premiering on AMC. Cooper takes on the title role, as a preacher who is accidentally possessed by a supernatural being. He continues his role as a leader in the community, but his real mission is to find God. He sets out on the search with the help of a vampire friend (Joe Gilgun) and his ex-girlfriend (Ruth Negga).

9. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

The Mamma Mia! story continued with the 2018 sequel. The story picks up five years later, where we see Sophie (Seyfried) and her husband Sky (Cooper) living in Greece. When Sky is offered a job in New York, their peaceful life is disrupted. In addition to her husband talking about relocating, Sophie's on the verge of reopening The Hotel Bella Donna, formerly run by her mother (Streep).

10. Spy City

You can catch Cooper in the new six-part AMC series Spy City. He portrays a British spy named Fielding Scott. Set in 1961, Scott is sent to Berlin, as it seems there is a mole in the U.K. Embassy. Someone on the inside is giving out secrets to the outside, aka the Russians. It's up to Scott to figure out the leak. But, who's to say it's not.. him. Everyone is a suspect when it comes to the spy game.

You can watch full episodes of Spy City over at AMC+, premiering on Thursdays.
