WATCH: 'The Crown' Star Emma Corrin Makes Surprise Appearance During Little Simz's Performance at U.K.'s BRIT Awards

The Crown's Emma Corrin made a surprise cameo during the BRIT Awards in London last night (February 8).
The actor joined singer-rapper Little Simz during her powerful performance of "Introvert" at the prestigious ceremony. Midway through the song, Corrin appeared on stage to perform the spoken-word part that she also delivers on Little Simz's acclaimed album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.
"Alone, but not lonely, your truth unveils with time," Corrin recites with dignity. "As you embark on a journey of what it takes to be a woman."
The BRIT Awards are the top prize awarded by the U.K. music industry, so Corrin's cameo definitely made a splash. You can check it out below – Corrin comes in just before the two-minute mark.

Corrin also appears on five interludes on Little Simz's album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. Discussing her collaboration with Corrin last year, the musician told i-D: "I think Emma Corrin is amazing man, she's really really talented and just a beautiful, genuine, nice soul. Getting her on the record, I just knew that her adding her magic would take it somewhere else, she just has a great voice."
"Everything she is saying on the interludes and at the end of Introvert are things that everyone should hear," Little Simz added. "You interpret it and digest it how you want but she was able to narrate it beautifully and in a way that doesn't feel preachy or like someone’s talking down at you, or you know… something you might even just say to yourself."
Little Simz won the Best New Artist prize at the BRIT Awards last night. Other winners included Adele and Ed Sheeran, both of whom also took to the stage to perform.
