WATCH: Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh in 'Black Widow' Trailer

Avengers fans assemble! The first trailer for Scarlett Johansson's spin-off movie Black Widow has arrived.

Johansson has played the title character, former KGB assassin Natasha Romanoff, who becomes a member of the Avengers superhero crew, since 2010. However, Black Widow marks the character's first ever standalone movie.

Rising star Florence Pugh (The Little Drummer Girl, Little Women) co-stars as Yelena Belova, a kind of sister figure to Romanoff.

They both appear in the action-packed two minute trailer, which you can check out below.

The superhero movie's cast also includes Stranger Things actor David Harbour, The Handsmaid Tale's O. T. Fagbenle, and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, who plays a seasoned spy known as Iron Maiden.

Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome, Lore) directs from a screenplay by Jac Schaeffer (Captain Marvel) and Ned Benson (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby). Johansson, who serves as an exec producer on the movie, said of its premise earlier this year: “Where we find Natasha in her life at this point is very specific. She really is in a dark place where she’s got no one to call and nowhere to go. She’s really grappling with her own self."

Johansson added: "When something huge explodes and all the pieces are landing, you have that moment of stillness where you don’t know what to do next — that’s the moment that she’s in. In that moment, you actually have to face yourself.”

Black Widow opens in theaters on May 1, 2020. Bring it on.
