WATCH: Robert Pattinson Stars in 'The Batman' Trailer

Earlier this year we had a glimpse of Robert Pattinson suited up as Batman in a "Camera Test" that was released by director Matt Reeves.

And just yesterday, Reeves released the first look feature trailer.

Set to Nirvana's "Something in the Way," we see Pattinson as Batman, walking, talking, brooding and fighting. We use the word "talking" loosely, as he only delivers the two lines, saying, "I'm vengeance," and a bit later, asking, "How am I part of this?"

But, that's kind of Batman's thing. He is a superhero of few words.

Reeves' The Batman takes place with Bruce Wayne in his second year as the caped crusader. We see Westworld's Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon reading off clues, addressed to Batman. We don't have to be a DC Comics expert to figure this one out — these cryptic messages, wrapped in a green envelope, must be coming from The Riddler.

You can look for a bunch of familiar characters, played by familiar actors, including Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), The Penguin (Colin Farrell), Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis) and the aforementioned The Riddler (Paul Dano).

Dano (Ruby Sparks) is such a sweetie pie, it will be fun and interesting to see him play a baddie.

The Batman is set to hit theaters on October 1, 2021.

Moviegoers sometimes associate Pattinson with the Twilight franchise and only the Twilight franchise. But, he has done more work since then and we have a roundup of six standout roles you may not know about.

Can you see Robert Pattinson as Batman... now that you've seen him as Batman?
