WATCH: Ralph Fiennes in Trailer for 'Kingsman' Prequel 'The King's Man'
"I know you want to fight, but there are other ways of doing your duty," cautions Ralph Fiennes' character in the first trailer for The King's Man, the upcoming Kingsman prequel movie.
Fiennes stars as the Duke of Oxford in the origin story from director Matthew Vaughn, who also directed the two previous Kingsman movies starring Colin Firth and Taron Egerton. In the trailer, we see Fiennes showing the ropes to new recruit Conrad (Trust's Harris Dickinson) in a way that recalls Firth and Egerton's mentor-mentee dynamic from the earlier movies.
The prequel takes place at the turn of the last century and sees Conrad and the Duke squaring up against "a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds" during the formative years of the Kingsman intelligence agency.
Rhys Ifans co-stars as real-life Russian mystic Rasputin and Gemma Arterton appears as a character that Vaughn has described as "Mary Poppins on steroids." Check them all out in the trailer below.
The movie's pretty incredible all-star cast also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Charles Dance, Stanley Tucci, Daniel Bruhl, Tom Hollander, and Djimon Hounsou. It's due out February 14, 2020.
And don't worry if you'd like to see more of Firth's Harry and Egerton's Eggsy from the earlier Kingsman flicks. Vaughn recently told Digital Spy that "the final chapter of their relationship needs to be told," and said he's "hoping to shoot that later this year or the beginning of next year."
