Marvel has a new franchise in the works, which you can look for over at Disney+, reports ComingSoon.net.
The forthcoming series, Moon Knight, revolves around Marc Spector, with Oscar Isaac set to take on the title role.
Spector (Isaac) is a former marine/CIA agent-turned-mercenary. In the comic book series, he goes to blows with an adversary mercenary, and he is defeated. About to take his last breath, an Egyptian moon god, known as Khonshu, brings him back to life.
From there, Spector believes himself to be the “moon’s Knight.”
In the newly released trailer, we see Moon Knight struggling with what’s real and what’s not.
We hear him say, “I can’t tell the difference between my waking life and my dreams.”

There’s someone advising him in the above clip, who we don’t see, saying, “The voice… in your head… it devours you.”
Well, that doesn’t sound all that comforting for Spector/Moon Knight.
While we don’t know the character the voice belongs to, it could be Ethan Hawke speaking (it sounds like it), who is also set to star.
The clip is brief, and the logline for the series is just as vague, but here is a peek at the official description: “Moon Knight is a new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”
There’s no premiere date as of yet, but we can look for six episodes once released.
