WATCH: Jude Law Makes His Dumbledore Debut in 'Fantastic Beasts 2' Trailer
Yesterday it was announced that a new trailer for the Fantastic Beasts sequel would be released today (March 13), and the new footage doesn't disappoint.
As we already knew, Eddie Redmayne returns as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. But, now for the first time we get to glimpse Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore. The sequel takes us to Hogwarts, but long before Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) was a student at the wizarding school.
At the end of the original Fantastic Beasts, Johnny Depp popped up as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. And, as the title of the sequel suggests, he's at the center of this new story.
In the trailer, Dumbledore declares, "I can't move against Grindelwald." If not Dumbledore, then... who?

Scamander has been directed to head to Paris, France, but as you may have picked up, he is not a "great follower of orders." That doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, because it sounds like he's needed closer to home.
Author J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is set to hit theaters on November 16, 2018. You can also look for Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, and Dan Fogler returning in the role of Jacob Kowalski. New actors to the franchise include Zoë Kravitz (Big Little Lies) and Callum Turner (The Only Living Boy in New York).
We should remind you, there are five Fantastic Beasts films lined up, so the wizard vs. wizard saga may not be resolved in this sequel.
If you were a betting bunch, which wizard would you put your money on?
