You may have already heard, AMC is adapting Anne Rice’s 1976 gothic horror novel for TV. But, we’re more than happy to mention it again, as it is just that exciting.
You can look for Jacob Anderson in the title role of Interview with the Vampire, starring as Louis de Pointe du Lac. Anderson is probably best known for his role in Game of Thrones as Grey Worm.
The story begins with Louis being interviewed by journalist Daniel Molloy, played by Eric Bogosian.
In the newly released trailer, we see how Louis meets Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), the vampire who turned him.
The below clip gives us an idea of what to expect:

We are really liking the journalist’s first question, “So, how long have you been dead?” That is definitely one way to kick off a conversation that spans eras.
In even more exciting news, the eight-part series will premiere on October 2.
Are you up for Anne Rice entering your home on a weekly basis!?
