Daniel Radcliffe as "Weird Al" Yankovic? It's really happening, and you can catch a glimpse in the first trailer for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
If the minute-long teaser is anything to go on, the upcoming movie is both a biopic and a spoof of rock biopics. This seems to reflect the fact that Yankovic became enormously popular in his own right by parodying the songs of Madonna, Elvis Presley, Nirvana and many more.
The trailer shows Radcliffe-as-Yankovic performing one of the comedy singer's most famous send-ups: "Like a Surgeon," a play on Madonna's "Like a Virgin." It also shows him playing Yankovic's signature instrument, the accordion.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story started shooting in L.A. in February and is due to premiere on The Roku Channel this fall. It's directed by Eric Appel (New Girl, The Office), who co-wrote the screenplay with Yankovic himself.
When it was announced by The Roku Channel in January, Yankovic said playfully: "When my last movie UHF came out in 1989, I made a solemn vow to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork. And I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film. I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for."
