The first trailer for the historical comedy movie Amsterdam is here, introducing us to a dynamic lead trio played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington.
The story follows their characters – two doctors and a nurse – as they become unlikely murder suspects in 1930s Amsterdam. According to the synopsis released by Walt Disney Pictures, this puts them "at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history."
Written and directed by David O. Russell, whose previous movies include Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, Amsterdam is being billed as story that "weaves historical fact with fiction."  For now, however, we don't know exactly where the balance between fact and fiction falls.
But we definitely do know that Russell has assembled a pretty incredible ensemble cast for the movie, which opens in theaters November 4. In the trailer, you'll also catch glimpses of Anya Taylor-Joy, Rami Malek, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldaña, and Robert De Niro.

Are you looking forward to paying a visit to Amsterdam?
