Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan are back as Pop and Ma Larkin in the trailer for season two of The Larkins.

The trailer for the second installment of Acorn TV's cozy dramedy also features their returning co-stars Robert Bathurst (Johnny Delamere), Amelia Bullmore (Miss Edith Pilchester), and Lydia Page (Primrose Larkin). Look out, too, for a somewhat pompous new character, Mr. Jerebohm, played by The Hour's Julian Rhind-Tutt.

Set in rural England in the 1950s, The Larkins revolves around the lives of wheeler-dealer Pop Larkin, his more grounded wife Ma, and their motley crew of six kids. The series is based on H. E. Bates' novel The Darling Buds of May, which was previously adapted into a 1990s series that helped to launch the career of Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The Larkins returns for its second season on Acorn TV on March 20. Last year, Scanlan won a BAFTA Film Award for her performance as a woman who discovers her husband had a secret second wife in After Love. Walsh, known for his role as Doctor Who companion Graham O'Brien, also hosts the long-running British quiz show The Chase.
