There has been some talk about who's going to play the next Wolverine. First it was Daniel Radcliffe, then Karl Urban, and now Taron Egerton.
When asked about taking over the role from Hugh Jackman, Egerton told ComicBook.com, “I’d love to.”
Also, in a recent interview with The New York Times, Egerton talked about what comes with that, saying, “I don’t think it would be wrong to say that (express interest). I’d be excited but I’d be apprehensive as well because Hugh is so associated with the role that I’d wonder if it’d be very difficult for someone else to do it.”
While people are talking about a Wolverine spinoff, nothing is quite concrete yet. Even so, Egerton will answer the phone if called: “But hopefully, if it does come around, they’ll give me a shot.”
We are getting a Bond vibe here, like, “Who’s going to play the next Bond? Maybe this person? Maybe this person? Maybe… ”
Our vote goes to Daniel Radcliffe. Why? Because he’s just the best, on and off screen.
