Things are starting to open up and that includes movie theaters. While a lot of us may not be rushing to the cinema and will opt for streaming, it's nice to know there's the option.

And, it seems that these days, theatrical releases are popping up on VOD sooner rather than later.

With that said, let's take a peek at what's coming out in the next few months:

1. Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (June 18)

Your favorite rabbit is back for another go on the big screen. You can look for Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit in the sequel The Runaway. Peter and his friends are at it again, starting trouble for estate owner Thomas McGregor, portrayed by Domnhall Gleeson. When Peter leaves the garden, everyone is concerned.

2. F9 (June 25)

The Fast and Furious franchise is getting another installment with F9. This time around, Cipher (Charlize Theron) is out for revenge against Dom (Vin Diesel). We've included the action flick on our list, as you can look for the return of Anglo favorite Helen Mirren, reprising her role as Queenie.

3. Long Story Short (July 2)

Rafe Spall takes the lead in the romantic comedy Long Story Short as a man named Teddy. Teddy is a procrastinator, putting things off. Newly married, he wakes up the day after his wedding, and every few minutes, he skips to the next year in his life. That's a lot of years in one day... a lot can happen.

4. Black Widow (July 9)

We first saw Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) up on the big screen in 2012's The Avengers. Now, the superhero has her very own movie and a friend, Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh. Black Widow is wrapped up in a dangerous conspiracy, which she needs to confront. But, she doesn't have to go it alone.

5. Love Type D (July 9) 

This British romantic comedy revolves around falling out of love, starring Maeve Dermody as a young woman named Frankie. When Frankie's boyfriend sends his little brother to break up with her, she is caught off guard. From there, she learns she has a gene, ensuring that she will always be the dumpee.

6. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (July 23)

Henry Golding takes on the title role in the action drama Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. The code name Snake Eyes sounds like the person could be a baddie, but he's actually on the good guy team, originally a commando. We learn the backstory of Snake Eyes, his training, and how he came to be in the military.

7. Jungle Cruise (July 30)

Disney's Jungle Cruise is inspired by the theme park ride, co-starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson as adventurers. The two team up to navigate through the jungle, in search of a mystical tree that has the power to heal. While they're working together, it seems they may have different motives.

8. The Green Knight (July 30)

Dev Patel has been on our radar for a while and now you can look for him in The Green Knight, where he portrays Sir Gaiwan, King Arthur's (Sean Harris) nephew. His character has quite the journey ahead of him, with his uncle sending him on a mission to battle the menacing Green Knight (Ralph Ineson).

9. Free Guy (August 13)

If you've been missing Killing Eve's Jodie Comer, you can look for her in Free Guy, starring opposite Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds plays a bank teller who comes to the realization that he's actually an NPC (non-player character) in a video game. Comer's character is the one to deliver the news and help him along the way.

10. Reminiscence (August 30)

Hugh Jackman portrays a detective in the forthcoming sci-fi thriller Reminiscence, but not like one we've seen before... he's actually a scientist who can recover people's lost memories. The story is set in a pretty dismal future, and when his new client goes missing, he becomes obsessed with her disappearance.
