Robert Pattinson (The Lost City of Z) is working with director Christopher Nolan on a new project set for 2020. While there aren't a ton of details on the film, which is currently untitled, Pattinson recently confirmed there is a script and talked to USA Today about why he's keen to work with Nolan.

And what did the actor think of the script? He said after reading it, he thought it was "unreal."

To backtrack, he described the process: "I got locked in a room to read the script, I don't have it myself."

That makes sense to keep the script on-site, we've seen stories of confidential material going missing. 

He explained his thought-process going into the project. He's been wary of doing big movies "for years and years." He broke it down into simple terms, saying, "But there's just something about Chris Nolan's stuff."

Hmm, what does that mean? Luckily he went on to elaborate, saying, "He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale."

He ended the chat on a more tangible, finite note: "I read the script and it's unreal."

All right, we're getting somewhere. While the topic of the film is yet to be disclosed, we do know there is a script. And it sounds like it's a doozy.

Nolan's track record shows off his range, delving into the superhero world taking over the Batman franchise in 2005, mastering sci-fi with the 2010 thinker hit Inception, and his latest success, the 2017 war biography Dunkirk. The 2020 film with Pattinson will be his next release.
