Phoebe Waller-Bridge is Writing a Movie which She Intends to Direct

Fleabag and Killing Eve's Phoebe Waller-Bridge has revealed a few details about her next project, and it sounds pretty epic.

The multi-talented Londoner is writing a feature film which she intends to direct. "The day I wrapped Fleabag, I went to bed thinking, 'I'm never going to have another idea again. Oh s**t,'" she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I woke up with the vision of this film."

Waller-Bridge also said that she doesn't intend to appear in the film as an actress, before adding knowingly: "I blatantly will end up in it." She does, however, want it to have a full theatrical release, which seems to rule out any kind of deal with a streaming services like Netflix or Amazon.

Other than that, Waller-Bridge said no more about the movie, which leaves us with so many questions. Will it be a full-on comedy like Fleabag, which Waller-Bridge created, wrote, and starred in, or have more of a thriller vibe like Killing Eve, which she developed and serves as an exec producer on? Could co-writing the screenplay for the upcoming Bond movie have influenced Waller-Bridge's approach in any way?

And, perhaps most importantly of all, will be there be a role for the awesome Fiona Shaw, who's appeared in both Fleabag and Killing Eve? Fingers crossed!

What kind of movie would you like to see Phoebe Waller-Bridge make?
