Phoebe Waller-Bridge is Making Her 'Saturday Night Live' Hosting Debut
Phoebe Waller-Bridge's bumper year continues with news that she'll make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut this fall.
The writer-creator-star of Fleabag and developer-executive producer of Killing Eve will host the iconic show on October 5, when the musical guest will be none other than pop superstar Taylor Swift. Could Waller-Bridge and Swift team up for some kind of skit? It's definitely a tantalizing prospect.
SNL shared the news on Twitter, also announcing that Woody Harrelson, Kristen Stewart, Stranger Things' David Harbour, and Eddie Murphy have been booked as upcoming hosts. Murphy's appearance is especially noteworthy because it will mark his return to SNL for the first time since he departed as a main cast member in 1984.

Waller-Bridge's fall already looks pretty exciting. She's up for four Primetime Emmy Awards on September 15 – three for Fleabag, and one for Killing Eve, which counts Best Drama Series among its nine nominations.
Waller-Bridge has also co-written the script for the new Bond movie No Time to Die, and revealed earlier this month that she is now writing another movie which she intends to direct.
