Paddington fans can rejoice, we're getting more of the beloved character and you won't even have to leave your home to watch. Nickelodeon and StudioCanal are teaming up to produce a children's series, reports Deadline.

Surely, it's suitable for adults, too...

The two channels will be working with Paddington movie producer David Heyman in bringing author Michael Bond's creation to TV. He's not the only one from the movie who will be contributing to the series, with Ben Whishaw providing the voice for the Peruvian bear.

In the recent movies, Paddington has made his way to London, England. The series will explore the adventures of a younger Paddington. The TV program is currently in production, which will open and close with Paddington writing letters to his Aunt Lucy from Windsor Gardens, according to an official press release.

We didn't think Paddington could get even cuter; a kiddo Paddington? It sounds and looks delightful.

Paddington was introduced to the world in 1958, through Bond's children's books. There's been previous adaptations in the '70s, '80s and '90s, with the most recent being the feature films, 2014's Paddington and 2017's Paddington 2. Both featured Whishaw's voice for Paddington, with an all-star live-action cast including Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Nicole Kidman and Doctor Who's Peter Capaldi. Hugh Grant joined the franchise as a baddie in the sequel.

As well, there's a third Paddington in the works, with the start date still to come.

Paddington himself popped up in the news recently (January 14), when Hugh Grant's bag went missing. But, really, that's all hearsay! A bear is innocent, until proven guilty.
