Not so long ago, it was announced that Cara Delevingne is set to join the dark comedy Only Murders in the Building.
We can also look for the return of original cast members – Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez – in the follow-up season.
Speaking of Short, he had a chat with Deadline about what’s to come. It sounds like season two is getting some movement, with the casting machine in full force.
Filming has begun and there are more guest stars lined-up, with Short saying, “Before Christmas, [I shot scenes with] Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer.”
We love it when actors spill the beans in an interview.
He went on to say, “The quality of actor that this show is attracting makes it endlessly fun to go to work.”
It is definitely a perk to enjoy the company of your co-workers.
And, who wouldn’t want to start the day with such powerhouses like MacLaine and Schumer.
There’s no word on what roles the actresses will be playing, but we will take it for what it is.
Just knowing they will be involved is intriguing in itself.
According to Deadline, we can also look for Nathan Lane, who stars as Teddy Dimas.
Short finished the interview by paying compliments to his co-stars, but thinks what “fuels” the series is the “compelling whodunit.”
If you need a catch-up on season one, here’s a peek at the trailer:

They’ve completed filming on the first two episodes and are working on the rest, says Short.
The premiere date is still to come, but it seems we’re getting closer by the minute.
