Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) is working on a Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz biopic, called Being the Ricardos, and it's getting some movement.

It's not yet confirmed, but there are multiple reports that Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are in negotiations to take on the lead roles, according to Deadline.

The title of the movie pulls from the TV show I Love Lucy (1951-1957), where the real-life married couple played on-screen married couple Lucy and Ricky Ricardo. Lucy was primarily a stay-at-home mom, with Ricky working as a bandleader at a nightclub. While Lucy ran the house, she came up with ways to try and become a part of Ricky's show.

The forthcoming movie is set to take place during one production week. It will kick off with a table read of the series, ending with the episode being filmed on a Friday. During that week, the couple face multiple crises that could not only end the show, but possibly their marriage.

Sorkin is set to both write and direct the movie, with a start date still to come.

If I Love Lucy is new to you, or it's been a minute, here's a peek at an iconic scene:

You can look for Kidman in 2021's Nine Perfect Strangers. Bardem has completed filming on Dune, which is also out in 2021.
