New Trailer: Millie Bobby Brown Stars as Sherlock's Little Sister in 'Enola Holmes'
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story of Sherlock Holmes is the story that keeps on giving, with multiple iterations in TV and movie form.
Of course, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss' Sherlock is No. 1 on our list. But, we're always open to more with the character being so engaging.
This time around, it's Sherlock's little sister who takes the lead in the Netflix movie Enola Holmes.
It's also the story that keeps on going, with this being a continuation of Doyle's stories, as the author did not create a sister for the Holmes brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft. The movie adaptation is based on the YA book series by Nancy Springer.
Even so, we do see a lot of Sherlock in this teen sleuth, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things).
The new trailer kicks off with Enola speaking to the audience, saying, "Now, where to begin?" She briefly introduces herself and explains how close she is with her mother (Helena Bonham Carter).
And with this being a Sherlock tale, of course there's a mystery... her mother has gone missing.
That's where the real story begins:

It's not just Enola, we can also look for Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin). While the older siblings want to look out for her, she actually wants to ditch them. She does so by disguising herself as "a lady" and gets her investigation on in London.
If you're still not sure about adding another Sherlock into the fold, the movie comes from director Harry Bradbeer, who has worked on both Killing Eve and Fleabag. Those credentials may help put any doubts aside.
And, speaking of KE, Bradbeer has recruited Fiona Shaw to co-star in Enola Holmes, with her character yet to be announced. Hmm, maybe a villain? Anything is possible...
You can look for the feature length movie on September 23.
