New Trailer: Kit Harington Stars in the Second Season of Anthology Series 'Modern Love'

We saw some Anglo fan favorites in the first season of the anthology series Modern Love, including Dev Patel and Andrew Scott. It's happening again, with the second season set to feature Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, reports ComingSoon.net.

In the newly released trailer, we see Harington sitting across from a young woman (Lucy Boynton) on a train ride. We're not told what brought the two together, and it may just be a happy coincidence.

As the trailer rolls out, it appears they'd like to reunite, except they didn't exchange contact information.

The plan is to return to the spot where they met, in two weeks' time, which will rely on each honoring their promise to do so:

It's not just Harington and Boynton, and their one love story—there are a number of familiar faces and storylines to look forward to.

You can also look for Dominique Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah), Tobias Menzies (The Crown), Sophie Okonedo (His Dark Materials), Anna Paquin (Electric Dreams), Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Minnie Driver (Speechless) and Lulu Wilson (Sharp Objects).

The second season is made-up of eight new stories, and while the plots are vague, we can expect them to be topped-up with romance... even if the people around them don't see it working out (there's some naysaying in the above trailer).

The series is based on a New York Times column, which kicked off in 2004, and was followed by a podcast in 2016.

The new season of Modern Love will premiere on August 13 over at Amazon Prime.

Have you been missing Jon Snow... err... we mean, Kit Harington?
