You may know Julia Garner from Ozark (2017-2022) and Dirty John (2018-2019). She’s now taking on a new role, starring in the forthcoming drama Inventing Anna, created by Shonda Rhimes, reports ComingSoon.net.
The 10-part series is heading to Netflix, inspired by the New York magazine article How Anna Delvey Tricked New York's Party People, which ran in 2018.
Garner is set to take on the title role, portraying real-life con artist Anna Delvey. Delvey is described as a Russian heiress, who when arriving to New York City, stole the hearts of those around her... and their money.
The series revolves around Delvey’s charming yet calculating ways, and a journalist who suspects her to be a fake.
The newly released trailer introduces us to both women:

In the above clip, it doesn’t seem like Delvey has any remorse, shouting, “Anna Delvey is a masterpiece, bitches."
You can look for Veep’s Anna Chlumsky as the journalist investigating this master manipulator.
As the story progresses, the two women develop a “love-hate” bond.
Inventing Anna will premiere on February 11, 2022.
