New Trailer: John Krasinski Returns for 'Jack Ryan' Season Two

John Krasinski's Jack Ryan was the reluctant hero in the first season of the Tom Clancy TV adaptation. But now that he's back for a second run, it seems the analyst-turned-field agent has a good handle on the spy game.

In the first look trailer, Ryan heads to South America to investigate a possible illegal arms smuggling ring:

If you think you spotted Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) in the above trailer, you're absolutely correct. She will be joining the franchise as a series regular.

Based off Tom Clancy's bestselling novel series, Amazon's Jack Ryan was renewed for a second season before the first season had even aired.

ICYMI, here's a look at the trailer for season one:

This isn't the first time we've seen Jack Ryan on-screen, with a number of movie adaptations, including 2014's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, 2002's The Sum of All Fears, 1994's Clear and Present Danger, 1992's Patriot Games and 1990's The Hunt for Red October.

It's yet to be announced when we can expect Jack Ryan season two, but the trailer being released is a good sign it may be sooner than later...
