Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has narrated an upcoming wildlife documentary called Elephant.
The Disney+ documentary will be available to stream from April 3, Disneynature announced on Twitter this morning. The documentary follows a close-knit elephant herd as it embarks on an epic journey of several hundred miles across the Kalahari desert.

The Duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, announced in January that they are stepping back as senior members of the British Royal family and intend to work towards achieving financial independence. As part of a new arrangement agreed with Queen Elizabeth II, they will be able to take on commercial assignments, but will no longer be able to use their "Royal Highness" titles.
The Duchess's voiceover role on Elephant pre-dates this arrangement. In January it was reported by Deadline that she had signed up to narrate an unspecified documentary for Disney+ in exchange for a donation to the Elephants Without Borders charity.
Before she and Harry wed in 2018, Meghan made her living as an actress, most notably appearing in the U.S. legal drama series Suits. As part of their plan to create roles for themselves outside of the British Royal family, the Duke and Duchess are relocating to Canada, where Meghan lived while filming Suits.
