John Krasinski Shares His Admiration for 'The Office' and is Up for a Possible Reunion
You may have been introduced to John Krasinksi as Jim Halpert in The Office (2005-2013). In addition to acting, he's now writing and directing, like with 2018's A Quiet Place, in which he also stars.
But, he hasn't forgotten where he got his start. And, he's not shy to pay homage. In a recent interview with Esquire, he gives credit to the workplace comedy, saying, "The Office was absolutely everything to me. I mean it is my beginning and my end. I’m pretty sure at the end of my career I’ll still be known for Jim."
He doesn't stop there, gushing about his time spent on the series and the people he worked with: "That was my first experience with Hollywood. It was the first creative family I’ve ever had. In many ways, they will always be the most important people in that most important experience in my career."
There's been talk of a possible reunion and he sounds more than up for it, saying, "So yeah, if they did a reunion, I would absolutely love to do it.”
There are loads of favorite scenes to choose from, but one of our favorites is when Jim gift-wraps Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) desk and its items... even the chair:
The Office has had an impact on this office, with the Jim Halpert-inspired prank happening at BBCA HQ:
Krasinski's A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters on March 20. He's set to return, alongside his actress wife Emily Blunt (Girl on the Train).
