John Krasinski Is Set to Return for 'Jack Ryan' Season 4

Based off Tom Clancy's bestselling novel series, Amazon Prime’s Jack Ryan was renewed for a second season before the first season had even aired.
And, here we are now, with season three just finishing filming and a fourth season confirmed, reports Empire Online.
We’re seeing a pattern…
John Krasinski stepped into the spy world in 2018, taking on the title role. Ryan is a CIA analyst-turned-field agent. While reluctant at first, as he doesn’t quite know what he is doing, he gets a handle on things as the series rolls out.
In season three, Ryan finds himself wrapped up in a conspiracy and on the run as a fugitive.
Here’s a peek at the official synopsis: “The next season finds Jack Ryan on the run and in a race against time. Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and suddenly finds himself a fugitive out in the cold. Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, trying to stay alive and prevent a massive global conflict.”
With the fourth season just being announced, the plot is unknown, but we can look forward to more of Krasinski in the title role.
This isn't the first time we've seen Jack Ryan on-screen, with a number of movie adaptations, including 2014's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, 2002's The Sum of All Fears, 1994's Clear and Present Danger, 1992's Patriot Games and 1990's The Hunt for Red October.
Jack Ryan season three is expected to premiere in 2022.
