We are huge fans of Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) over here, and it's always so exciting when there's mention of her signing on for a new project. This time around, it's not 100 percent confirmed, but there is talk of her starring in Marvel's Secret Invasion, reports Deadline. 

While Colman joining the series is still up in the air, it's worth mentioning, as it's just THAT exciting. Will she be a hero, a villain, possibly a civilian... there are so many ways to go about it.

Possibly we should backtrack, and dive into the project a bit, which is a crossover series revolving around MCU characters Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who we first saw on-screen together in 2019's Captain Marvel.

The forthcoming Disney+ series is based off of the 2008 eight-part comic book series, which revolves around the alien race Skrulls planning an Earth takeover. According to IMDB, Fury and Talos team up to try and stop the invasion.

Kyle Bradstreet, who worked on BBC America's Copper, will be writing and executive-producing the series.

With this being in the early stages, there's no start date as of yet.
