'Harry Potter' Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint to Reunite for TV Special

Harry Potter cast members led by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are to reunite for a 20th anniversary TV special.
Titled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, the retrospective special will premiere on HBO Max on New Year's Day, a Warner Bros. press release confirms.
Director Chris Columbus and fellow cast members Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, and Imelda Staunton are also confirmed for the special, which is timed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter movie.
Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and Ian Hart have also signed up to take part, "among others" who will presumably be announced at a later date.
“There’s magic in the air here with this incredible cast, as they all return home to the original sets of Hogwarts, where they began 20 years ago. The excitement is palpable as they prepare to take their fans on a very special and personal journey, through the making of these incredible films,” said executive producer Casey Patterson
The eight Harry Potter movies based on J.K. Rowling's zeitgeist-grabbing books were originally released between 1997 and 2007. They grossed over  $7.7 billion globally, making Harry Potter the third most successful film franchise ever.
