We're used to seeing Graham Norton's warm and witty hosting skills, but now we're going to find out what he's like as a judge. It's been announced that he's joining the judging panel of RuPaul's Drag Race U.K., the upcoming British spin-off of the Emmy-winning U.S. reality series.

Norton and fellow comedian-presenter Alan Carr will appear as "rotating resident judges" who take it in turns each week to join RuPaul and right-hand woman Michelle Visage on the panel. Norton is no stranger to the Drag Race format, which sees a gaggle of drag performers competing American Idol-style for a cash prize: he appeared as a guest judge on the All Stars version of the show in 2016.

“Becoming part of the Drag Race family makes me ridiculously happy!" Norton said in a statement. "I can’t wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeeerk!!!”

RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. will air on BBC Three in the U.K. later this year. There's no word yet on who will show the spin-off in the U.S., but the original show appears on VH1. In the meantime, you can catch Norton's regular gig hosting The Graham Norton Show, which airs tonight (February 15) on BBC America with guests Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Whitehouse, and Chaka Khan.
