First Look: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Set to Star in Sci-Fi/Comedy 'Truth Seekers'
Longtime collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are teaming up once again. The filmmakers (Shaun of the Dead) are circling back to TV, where they got their start with 1999's Spaced, and have recently revealed the first look photos for their new sci-fi/comedy Truth Seekers.
Frost is set to play Gus, a ghost-hunter, with Pegg's character yet to be announced.
Maybe you can draw your own conclusions on what Pegg is up to, based on the below:

The series revolves around three paranormal investigators, with Pegg saying to Variety, "Each episode is going to be an adventure, a potential haunting or something."
We love the "or something," which leaves a lot of wiggle room.
He also provides background on how the characters' truth-seeking business came to be: "It’ll start as a very parochial idea, a very small business venture for these people, but it will expand as the series goes on to be something far more global. It’s a language everyone understands, the mystery of the unknown."
Pegg ties it back to another project he worked on: "Shaun of the Dead was a very parochial story set in North London and somehow it managed to get this global reach because everyone understands the language of zombie movies.”
In a statement from last year, Frost chimed in, saying, "It’s been nothing but a joyride in seeing this mad tale of paranormal conspiracy unfold in all its understated brilliance."
Truth Seekers will be available via Amazon Prime, where available to stream. An air-date has yet to be released, but with the first look photos coming out, we're guesstimating... sooner than later.
Is this something you can sign up for?
