Saoirse Ronan and Sam Rockwell are teaming up for the forthcoming feature flick See How They Run. And it’s quite the mix of genres, made-up of mostly mystery, with a dash of comedy, and some period drama thrown in. It all adds up to be a… whodunit.
The movie is set to premiere on September 30, reports Deadline.
If this project is new to you, here’s a peek at the official synopsis:
“In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theater underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.”
Searchlight Pictures has graciously released some first look photos, which you can see below:

Possibly, it’s because we associate Ronan with Wes Anderson, that the first look photos seem reminiscent of The Grand Budapest Hotel, but it is actually directed by Tom George.
You can look for other Anglo favorites like David Oyelowo, Adrien Brody, and Ruth Wilson.
Is this going on your watch list?
