We recently mentioned Henry Cavill completing his performance in Enola Holmes 2 and celebrating by going on a run. From the Anglophenia reader comments on social media, it seems like people are excited for the sequel.
It’s not just Cavill who is done, but now the entire film has been completed, reports ComingSoon.net. The sequel stars Millie Bobby Brown in the title role.
The Enola Holmes character is pulled from Nancy Springer’s YA series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries. It’s a spinoff of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic tales of Sherlock Holmes, her older brother, portrayed by Cavill.
The first film, Enola Holmes, premiered in 2020, starring both Brown and Cavill. The two reunite for the sequel, which we can look for later this year.
In the meantime, the folks over at Netflix have shared a video from the last day of shooting.
In their caption, they write that there is a clue.

We suppose, the (somewhat vague) clue may be the fact that Holmes is seen with friend Viscount Tewkesbury, portrayed by Louis Partridge.
Maybe you have an interpretation of what the streamer is hinting at?
Clue or not, seeing the two actors embrace and do a little dance at the end of filming is quite sweet.
And, hearing the applause of the crew members really emphasizes the accomplishment of finishing the movie.
We look forward to seeing the entire feature and learning what the next adventure will be.
