Christian Bale Is Considering More Batman

Christian Bale portrayed the Caped Crusader in 2005’s Batman Begins, 2008’s The Dark Knight, and 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. He’s now talking about another go at the titular role.
In a recent interview with Variety, Bale talked about reuniting with director Christopher Nolan, saying, “I had a pact with Chris Nolan. We said, ‘Hey, look. Let’s make three films, if we’re lucky enough to get to do that. And then let’s walk away. Let’s not linger too long.’”
We’re not math majors, but it appears they have done the three films. But, plans can change.
Bale goes on to discuss his thought process on making another movie, saying, “In my mind, it would be something if Chris Nolan ever said to himself, ‘You know what, I’ve got another story to tell.’ And if he wished to tell that story with me, I’d be in.”
We realize that’s a roundabout way of saying, it’s a hard maybe.
But, when people start talking about things, it’s more likely to happen (than not).
We just saw Robert Pattinson as Batman in 2022’s The Batman and he’s confirmed for a sequel.
So, unless there are going to be two Batmans in the next installment, this may not happen for a while.
