Casting News: 'Les Mis' Star Lily Collins is Set to Star Opposite Simon Pegg in 'Inheritance'
Simon Pegg is teaming up with director Vaughn Stein for the family drama Inheritance, following their recent collaboration on the 2018 thriller Terminal. Originally Pegg was set to star opposite Kate Mara (Fantastic Four), but, as they do, plans have changed.
Lily Collins, who you may know from The Last Tycoon (2016-2017) and BBC's three-part miniseries Les Misérables (2018-2019), is being swapped into the role of Laura, reports Deadline Hollywood.
The movie Inheritance revolves around a wealthy family whose patriarch passes away suddenly. His wife and daughter are left with a "shocking secret inheritance" that "threatens to unravel and destroy their lives," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Pegg will play a character by the name of Morgan, but that's all we know at this point. As well, the description of Collins' role of Laura has yet to be disclosed.
In case you missed it, here's a look at Collins as Fantine in Les Mis, for a sampling of her previous work:

Matthew Kennedy (3 Peaks 3 Weeks) will write the script, marking his feature debut. The start of production has yet to be announced.
Inheritance doesn't necessarily mean money. Any predictions on what's being endowed!?
