You may know Joseph Quinn from Stranger Things as Eddie Muson. He’s now taking on a new project, set to star in the horror-thriller A Quiet Place: Day One, reports ComingSoon.net.
The original movie, A Quiet Place, premiered in 2018, written and directed by John Krasinski. Krasinksi also stars in the film, opposite Emily Blunt. The real-life married couple portray a married couple on-screen, who fight to evade alien invaders. The aliens are super sensitive to sound, so the family has trained themselves not to make a peep.

A sequel was released in 2020, which hinted at the aliens’ origin story:

The new movie will backtrack to when the aliens first arrive. Krasinski is taking a step back from directing with Michael Sarnoski (Pig) stepping in. The next movie is based on an idea from Krasinski.
Quinn will be joining Lupita Nyong'o, whose involvement was announced earlier this month. There’s been no mention of any of the original cast members returning, but the project is still in the early days.
