Casting News: Jennifer Lawrence to Star in Comedy 'No Hard Feelings'

Jennifer Lawrence has taken on some tough as nails characters in projects like X-Men, The Hunger Games and Red Sparrow.

This time around, she’s signed on for a comedy, set to star in director Gene Stupnitsky’s No Hard Feelings, reports Deadline.

Other than the location, Montauk, New York, there’s no word yet on the plot or her character description.

While there’s little known about the project itself, it’s being compared to films like Bad Teacher and There’s Something About Mary.

The rights to the movie were up for grabs, with Sony winning the bidding war.

So, there’s got to be something about No Hard Feelings.

We should say, it’s not all giggles, as it’s been given an R rating. We can expect some adult content thrown into the mix.

The project is in its very early stages and there’s no start date, just yet.

Stupnitsky wrote 2011’s Bad Teacher, which may explain the comparison:
