Jamie Dornan's hot streak continues with news that he's lining up his next movie role.
According to Deadline, the Northern Irish actor is joining Gal Gadot in Heart of Stone, an "international spy thriller" directed by Tom Hooper (The King's Speech, Les Misérables).
The movie has a screenplay co-written by Allison Schroeder, whose previous credits include Hidden Figures and Christopher Robin, but all plot details are being kept under wraps. We do know, however, that the project has already been snapped up by Netflix.
Dornan is currently building Oscar buzz for his work in Belfast, Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical movie about his childhood in 1960s Northern Ireland. Dornan has already earned a Golden Globe nomination for his performance as a protective father keen to move his family away from "The Troubles," a prolonged period of conflict in the province, and onto a safer life in England.
You can watch Dornan talk about being teased by his young co-star Jude Hill – who plays his on-screen son – during his recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
He also has a six-part thriller series, The Tourist, coming to HBO Max in March. The Australia-set miniseries has already been a hit for the BBC over in the U.K.
