David Tennant and former Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat are to reunite for a new BBC/Netflix limited series called Inside Man.

According to Deadline, Stanley Tucci has been cast in the four-part series' title role. It's a Sin breakout star Lydia West and Blunt Talk's Dolly Wells — both of whom appeared in Moffat's 2020 miniseries Dracula — have also joined the cast.

The series is said to follow three key characters — an American death row prisoner, a vicar in a sleepy English town, and a teacher trapped in a basement — as their lives intertwine unexpectedly. Moffat is apparently keeping plot details so closely under wraps that not even the BBC and Netflix know what happens at the end.

Sherlock's Paul McGuigan will direct the series, which was originally commissioned by the BBC in 2019. Shooting is due to take place later this year. Inside Man will air on the BBC in the U.K. and on Netflix in the U.S. and other territories.

Tucci recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show, where he shared a rather gruesome anecdote involving one of his pre-fame jobs. You can check it out below.
