The In Bruges gang are getting back together – well, most of them.

Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are attached to star in a new movie from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh which will shoot in Ireland this summer.

According to Deadline, the film is titled The Banshees of Inisheer and takes place on a remote Irish island. Farrell and Gleeson will play lifelong friends who find themselves at an "impasse" when one of them decides to shockingly and suddenly end their friendship.

In 2008's In Bruges, writer-director McDonagh's first feature film, Gleeson and Farrell starred as a couple of hitmen on the run from their enraged boss, played by Ralph Fiennes. Farrell won a Golden Globe award for his performance, while McDonagh picked up a BAFTA Film Award for his screenplay.

There's no word yet on whether Fiennes could join them in The Banshees of Inisheer, but fingers crossed. The film is McDonagh's follow-up to Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which was nominated for Best Picture and the Oscars and saw Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell win Academy Awards for their performances.

Gleeson is also set to portray President Donald Trump in the upcoming miniseries A Higher Loyalty. Meanwhile, Farrell is now shooting The Batman with Robert Pattinson, and has said it's shaping up to be a "dark" and "moving" superhero movie.
