The rise of Regé-Jean Page continues with news that the Bridgerton star has been cast in the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie.

He joins Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith in the movie based on the enduringly popular fantasy role-playing game. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game Night's Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are writing and directing the movie, but no further details about the project are known at present.

Will it be a fantasy movie set entirely in the world of the game, or will it follow characters as they play it? Let the speculation commence.

Page, 31, has become one of Bridgerton's biggest breakout stars since the period drama series debuted on Netflix in December. He's due to cement his rise by hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend (February 20).
