Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are to co-star in We Live in Time, a love story that is described as "immersive" and "deeply moving."

Deadline reports that the romantic movie is being directed by John Crowley, whose previous credits include Brooklyn and Boy A. The latter starred Garfield as a young man trying to re-enter society after spending 14 years in a juvenile prison.

Though Garfield has worked with Crowley before, this will be the first time he has co-starred with Pugh. The two actors did team up, however, to present the screenplay awards at the Oscars on Sunday night (March 12).

Plot details are apparently being kept under wraps, but The Time We Live In has a script by Nick Payne, who previously wrote the Jim Broadbent and Charlotte Rampling-led movie The Sense of an Ending

Pugh already has several movies in the pipeline, including A Good Person, a Zach Braff-directed drama opening in theaters on March 24. After that, we'll see her in Christopher Nolan's latest film Oppenheimer and the blockbuster sequel Dune: Part Two.

Meanwhile, Garfield is set to star as British entrepreneur Richard Branson in Hot Air, a limited series about Branson's business dealings and fondness for publicity stunts.
