Casting News: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Has Signed on for ‘The Fall Guy’

We just saw Aaron Taylor-Johnson in this year’s Bullet Train, opposite Brad Pitt. Now he’s set to join the already established cast of The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
The forthcoming movie is based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, starring Lee Majors as a stuntman. This time around, Gosling will portray the stuntman, and Taylor-Johnson will play the actor he steps in for.
But, adding a little bit of a twist to the movie, Taylor-Johnson’s character has gone missing.
In the original series, the stunt man has a side hustle as a bounty hunter. But the movie is going to swap that element out and put its focus on the stunt man’s struggling career.
While he may not have a part-time job as a crime solver, we have a feeling he will be stepping in to find his missing coworker-turned-foe. If found, the two may possibly form a friendship.
The characters don’t have names just yet, hence referring to them as their character descriptions.
With that said, you can look for Blunt as a makeup artist who has a romantic history with the stunt man. We like an action film with a dash of romance.
The Fall Guy is in the early stages, with a premiere date predicted for 2024.
In the meantime, let’s go back to the beginning and take a peek at the original series:

We’re liking the sound of this so far. What about you?
