Love Actually favorite Bill Nighy will lead an all-star cast in the BBC's latest lavish Agatha Christie adaptation.

Following hit adaptations of Christie's And Then There Were None and Witness for the Prosecution, the BBC is now tackling the iconic crime writer's 1959 novel Ordeal by Innocence. It was previously made into a 1985 movie starring Donald Sutherland and Faye Dunaway.

The new adaptation, earmarked for a 2017 holiday season slot on BBC1 in the U.K., will also star two-time Oscar nominee Catherine Keener, Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick, Downton Abbey's Matthew Goode, Star Trek Into Darkness actress Alice Eve, and Star Wars cast member Crystal Clarke.

Fortitude actor Luke Treadaway, Poldark's Eleanor Tomlinson, Twenty Twelve favorite Morven Christie, and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children actress Ella Purnell also feature in the bumper cast.

Sarah Phelps, who scripted And Then There Were None and Witness for the Prosecution, is also writing the screenplay for the new adaptation.

The drama's executive producer Damien Timmer told the Radio Times: "Sarah Phelps has excelled herself with this spellbinding adaptation of one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated stories. A gloriously dark deconstruction of an apparently perfect family, we hope it delights and chills viewers when it airs!"

There's no word yet on a U.S. air date. Both of the BBC's previous Agatha Christie adaptations are currently available on streaming service Acorn TV, and they're well worth checking out if you like a super-tense "whodunnit."
