Anne Hathaway Goes Full Witch in New 'The Witches' Teaser Trailer
We got to see Hathaway and her co-stars — Octavia Spencer, Jahzir Bruni and Stanley Tucci — in character and the storyline roll out on-screen.
While the first look trailer was spectacular in itself, now we get to see Hathaway in full witch mode. And, it's kind of scary, to be honest.
Warner Bros. has graciously released a clip on "How to Spot a Witch." This can really come in handy, especially with Halloween around the corner.
You may already know some of these tips, but just to be safe, we'll provide a bit of a recap. Witches wear long gloves to cover their claws. Their mouths stretch to the corners of their face and their nostrils are oversized, too. If you think someone might be a witch, try to get them to take their shoes off, because witches don't have... toes!
And, finally, all witches wear wigs to cover their baldness.
It might be better to watch the clip for yourself, to make sure you're across all the witch-y red flags:
The forthcoming movie stays true to Dahl's story. It follows an orphaned little boy who goes to live with his grandma. There, his grandma tells him a story about witches... that they're real.
And, unfortunately for him, he runs into a whole batch of them. The witches do not like children, and they've come up with a plan to change all the children in the world into mice, including this young fella.
If you missed it the first time around, here's the official trailer:
You can look for director Robert Zemeckis' The Witches on October 22.
Can you tell us about the first time you came across this story!?
