'A Quiet Place Part II' Gets a New Trailer, Gearing Up for Its Theatrical Release

It seems like the horror-thriller A Quiet Place came out ages ago... well, three years to be exact. With that said, fans of the 2018 original are probably more than ready for the sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28.

Yes, you read that right: THEATERS. According to the newly released trailer, we can see the film "Only in theaters."

We have a feeling that could change, but what we can count on is some new footage.

We see Emily Blunt return as mother to three children, adapting to life in a post-apocalyptic world. She's in search of other people out there, "People worth saving." While some may deter her efforts, she doesn't give up.

We don't actually see aliens in the new clip, but at 1:16 we do hear that clicking sound, which means... be quiet.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at what we're referring to, i.e. alien speak:

In the original, Blunt starred opposite her real life husband Jon Krasinksi, who does show up in the new trailer, but only in flashbacks. We can also look for Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

While Krasinski may not be in the entire film, he was there for the shoot, handling directing duties, from a script he co-wrote.

Other than Blunt on the hunt, the storyline is pretty vague. Guess we'll have to go to the cinema to find out the full story.

Are you itching to get back into a movie theater?
